Princess Sapphire is a girl raised as a Prince. Through the mischief of an angel, the princess is born with both a girl's body and boy's mind. Since there is no boy successor in her kingdom, Sapphire is raised as a boy, but evil ministers try to reveal her secret. Unable to put up with the kind of vicious conduct prevailing in the kingdom, Sapphire disguises herself as "Princess Knight" and wields her sword of justice.
This is an animated version of the girls' manga featuring Sapphire's romance and adventure, which marked the first made-for-TV animated program geared towards girls in Japan. |

A couple of weeks ago (October 22), Nozomi Entertainment/RightStuf released the second part of Princess Knight (Ribbon no Kishi) on DVD. ---> Part 1 | Part 2
The series has never been subbed, and the DVDs are dub-only, since apparently they couldn't get all the proper material to work with from the Japanese masters (Due to some serious damage), so they used a restored master of the old material used for the previously released VHS tapes (Of which no rips exist), as well as other sources.
I don't know if this is the kind of thing you'd be interesting in doing, not to mention it's a bit lenghty (52 episodes), but I'd still like to put the idea out there for you to consider.
(I've been asking to the "usual suspects" since a couple of days ago, but the responses I've gotten so far aren't positive).
Really hoping you can take on this project. _________________ Grindcore = Too punk for Metal people, too metal for Punk people.
