I don't use ANN's list (well I have a little bit on it) but instead I use MyAnimeList.net (MAL for short)
It's a great site, there's even a program you can install on your computer that will automatically update your list as you finish an episode.

Here's my list

and you can see my sig is also generated by MAL.
